Year 2

Welcome to the Year 2 page. Here you can find key information and resources relating to your child's journey through Year 2.

Our classrooms are situated by the library in school. Children will enter the school via the white double doors across the infant playground - these will be opened at 8.30am and closed at 8.40am. A teacher will always be stood on the doors ready to greet the children and take any messages you may have in the mornings. We kindly ask that all children come into school independently.

Teaching Staff

Mr Culley will be teaching 2C
Mrs Coggins and Miss Kenney will be teaching 2CK
Mrs Coggins will be in school Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Miss Kenney will be in school Thursdays and Fridays.

We are really looking forward to meeting you all at the Meet and Greet on Tuesday 3rd September at 2.30pm but if you can’t make it please feel free to say hello to us on the door at home time. The slides from this session will be available on the school website after this date.

Our PE day is Tuesday.
Please can you ensure a full indoor and outdoor kit is provided in a named bag. PE kit will be send home at the end of the day.
A discrete pair of pants are often a useful item to include in this bag too.Indoor 

Swimming 

Our swimming day is Wednesday. Please can you ensure a full swimming kit, towel and swimming hat is provided in a named bag on this day.
